It's no secret that I love to shop. Fortunately for my closet and unfortunately for my wallet, I am often influenced to buy clothes after seeing them styled online, whether it be on Pinterest or on various fashion blogs.
Here are some of my purchases:
After seeing this outfit online at
Girl Gone Fashion, I wanted both the skirt and the top! I love the mixed patterns, colors, and how well everything went together. I looked online and only saw the shirt. I honestly forgot about the it, until I stopped in a
Francesca's store. While looking around, I found both the skirt and the top on sale! The skirt came to $16.00 and the top $19....both less than $20!
Shopping tip: Top is still available online
here. So many items were on sale, I recommend going to the store. Also if you text Join227 to 22466, you will get a 20% off coupon for in store purchase!
I fell in love with this
Ralph Lauren Nantucket striped top featured on
Summer Wind. When I went to the RL website, it was sold out. I did a search on
ebay and found brand new, with tags, for really cheap. It is great quality and super comfortable. I wore it in late summer with shorts and then again in the fall with jeans.

I really liked this Kelly green sweater seen on
The Classy Cubicle. Another
Ralph Lauren item and another item no longer sold on their website. Although the blogger offered some similar options on the post, none were as cute as this one pictured. I did another ebay search and was able to find the sweater at only $10 (if I remember correctly)! Even more stunning in person, this is great paired with white cropped pants just as the blogger styled. It also looks great with gold chunky jewelry!
I think I stumbled across this
Everly chevron top on
Pinterest. I clicked the link but their site did not have online shopping. After a Google search I saw the brand was sold at boutiques and at Nordstrom. I think I ended up buying this top for $8 off
Poshmark.
Shopping tip: Poshmark is one of many online consignment shops where you can buy and sell clothing. Although I have had more luck selling on Ebay, there are some great sites to find some good deals or hard to find items.
I found this adorable dress on
Instagram of all places, on the account of Ali Fedotowsky (I'm guessing a Bachelorette contestant?) The dress she listed as a
BCBG dress and I went to their site and purchased it ASAP. I wore it for the
Sandals dinner cruise in Baltimore a week later. I used a promo code and got $25 off and free shipping....dress was around $55.
Shopping tip: Always search for coupons or promo codes by simply searching the web, before making any purchases online!
