|Basil Spaghetti with Cheesy Broiled Tomatoes|
I saw this recipe in the Martha Stewart magazine while I was getting a pedi...the mag belonged to the salon so I could not rip it apart to take with me...so I snapped a few shots with my phone!! I made the dish Saturday night for Jason and I and it was quick, only required a few ingredients, and tasted delish!!
- Heat broiler. Cook the pasta according to the package directions; drain and return it to the pot.
- (It took 6 minutes for me)
- In a small saucepan, warm the oil with the garlic and red pepper over medium heat until fragrant, 1 to 2 minutes.
- Add the garlic oil, basil, ½ teaspoon salt, and ¼ teaspoon black pepper to the pasta and toss to combine. Serve topped with the tomatoes, additional basil, and shaved Parmesan.
