RiRi's fash at the 2013 Grammys

I'm not a huge award show fan. Last night however, I watched a majority of the 2013 Grammy Awards. I loved seeing Justin Timberlake preform and the tribute to Bob Marley by Sting, Bruno Mars, Rihanna, and Ziggy Marley. I also liked seeing Price, as he presented the award for Grammy of the Year. The only way to describe him is " he is such a cool dude".

So anyway, I have been obsessing over the Azzedine AlaĂŻa dress Rihanna wore during her performance of the song, "Stay" with Louisiana singer/songwriter/producer Mikky Ekko. The simple scoop neck and length mirrored that of a tank dress, but material and cut gave it that Hollywood glamour. It was not just form fitting, but beautifully flattering. Tunisian-born Paris-based AlaĂŻa, has had a rack of celbs rocking his designs recently including Alicia Keys at the Super Bowl for her National Anthem performance. Rihanna's hot red dress was also byAlaĂŻa which she sported to and during the same show.

Rihanna kept her look classic for both looks, sporting both red lips and nails. During her performance she pared the black gown with a Neil Lane diamond necklace and a simple crystal bangle.

Let's get real, this girl would still look amazeballs wearing a garbage bag!

I thought the black dress was fitting for such a deep emotional song. If you missed the performance, check it out below.

I love seeing celebs rock sophisticated styles like these as opposed to blue hair and trashy dresses.

I'm keeping my eyes out for a copy cat black gown! If you see any, be sure to let me know!

Chambray: New wardrobe staple or trend?

Is Chambray is the new wardrobe staple?
Chambray may be in France, but Chambray shirts are everywhere this season!

With Chambray, the fabric weight and color are both lighter then traditional denim. Just like denim, the color can vary and the style can be dressed up or casual- depending on what you pair it with. Chambray traditionally has been used to make men's shirts, however just like "boyfriend" jeans, the look has crossed over into women's wear. The look is classic, but casual and I'm not convinced the look is here to stay, but with inexpensive options it's not a huge investment.

Want your own? Try these at J Crew or Nordstrom

Below are some different ways Chambray can be worn. As always some looks I like better then others....

Oliva Palermo pairs with denim...not a fan, but I do like her shoes :)

All the way buttoned...not a fan of this look.

Olsen unbuttons and tucks in the top- like this better!

Not a fan of the pull over Chambray...perfer the traditional button down.

Men rocking the look! Love with the stone colored khakis.

...or your ex!

I've begun to live by this...except for when I go to the gym.
Hopefully neither or there.

Tiffany Blue!

Tiffany Blue has been such a huge hit for weddings in the last few years and now it seems the color is everywhere in fashion too. It can be described best as a light medium blue or a robin's egg blue. Even the iconic brand, had launched a line of handbags and other small leather goods in their signature color. However they are quite pricey ($16,500  for this bag)

From shoes to nail polish, here are some cute ways to sport the color of "love"- even on a budget!

Converse Chuck Taylors in color "One Sky"
Zappos

Tiffany colored jeans on Kim K.
